Dove and Stellar Award winner and Gospel Legend Dottie Peoples has released “Cry Out To Jesus”, her first single from the upcoming album Gospel Songs and featured on her current compilation Songs Of Inspiration. “Cry Out To Jesus’ is a very personal song for me” Dottie confesses. “I lost my dear mother this year and it put my Faith to the test, I really had to lean on Jesus to get through it. This song speaks of the importance of that faith through hardships, whether it’s loss, loneliness, pain or addiction, you can turn to Jesus for His Grace and Forgiveness, Mercy and Healing, He will meet you wherever you are – Cry Out To Jesus”.

Dottie states: “There are 13 songs on the CD that represent all the styles of Gospel music that I love but I chose Back To The Old Church as my second single because so many people around the country have told me they don’t hear enough of the old style traditional Gospel music that so many of us love. I wrote and recorded this song with the old country church service in mind where everybody is having a good time praising God. It’s a song that my generation can really relate to but I also believe the young folks can experience something that maybe they were never exposed to. I love this young man of God!! We go all the way back to the Power 98 tour. The energy that Hez and all those fiery young folks in his choir bring to the church is amazing!
