Dottie’s Song of the Week
Dottie’s song of the week – “Make It by Myself” featuring the late Rev. Gerald Thompson — from her album Live in Memphis
This song is dedicated to the late Reverend Gerald Thompson who went home on May 22, 2013. Gerald was my long-time friend, my co-producer, co-writer, incredible musician, vocalist and label mate on AIR Records. I Love You Gerald and miss you every day. God Bless, Dottie #igotthis

Dottie Peoples and Bishop TD Jakes
I could never begin to know what to say about this great man of God! Early in my career I was Blessed to appear at his 1st conference in Atlanta and to see where God has taken him now I can only say WOW! I thank God for the impact Bishop Jakes has had on the Body of Christ. Let the Church say amen!! Dottie #igotthis
A Personal Note From Dottie
ON TIME GOD – When it came time to do my 2nd album for AIR Records, my good friend the late Herb Lance of Revelation Records told me I needed to travel full time as an artist. As a single woman, that was very scary. I had bills to pay! But, that night God put it in my spirit that He’s An On Time God. And to this day, He’s been an On Time God not just to me but to so many others!! Can I get a witness!! He’s An On Time God, Yes He Is! Love, Dottie #igotthis

I Got This – Live! is my 16th album as a solo artist and it debuted on the Billboard charts at # 14, it is the 2nd album from my own label DP Muzik Group. There are 13 tracks including the title cut “I Got This,” the classic “Everything Must Change,” and Praise and Worship songs “Welcome” and “Manifest Your Glory.” For this recording I hired my old friend and former AIR Gospel label owner Alan Freeman to work with me. We wanted to do a live recording that would capture the spirit of some of my older recordings like On Time God and Testify. I brought in many of my old writers, musicians and recording team and I carefully chose each song that would flow like a concert at church. It is important that I feel each song in my heart so that when I sing it you can feel the message coming through me. I am so proud and honored by the commitment so many people made through rehearsals and the recording. I pray it will be a Blessing to others as it has to me.
