DP Muzik Group was founded in 2008 by the internationally renowned Gospel Artist, Dottie Peoples. Her music has uplifted, aroused, inspired and energized audiences for over 30 years. A woman of integrity, filled with the Spirit, she answers the call of GOD on her life through her Gospel Music Ministry and is the sole owner of DP Muzik Group.

She is the first African American female Artist with her own Gospel Record Label in Atlanta, Georgia.

DP Muzik Group will raise the level of diversity by producing music ranging from Traditional Gospel to Holy Hip Hop. The Gospel Recording Label launched with Dottie Peoples’ CD Do It, September of 2008 and she won the coveted Stellar Award for Best Female Traditional Artist.

(Atlanta, GA – April 12, 2012) – Stellar, Soul Train and Dove Award winner, and 3 time Grammy nominated artist Dottie Peoples has announced that former head of Atlanta International Records Alan Freeman has been named President of DP Muzik Group effective immediately. DP Muzik Group is the Atlanta based record label that she founded and launched in 2008. Dottie People’s serves as CEO & Founder.

Dottie was a recording artist signed to Freeman’s Atlanta International Records in 1992, and enjoyed tremendous success with hits like “On Time God” and “Testify” of which she recorded with her beloved The Peoples Choice Chorale.
